After 21 years of practice with large, mid-size and small law firms in Beverly
Hills, the South Bay and the Pacific Northwest, Layton Pace launched his own law practice in November 2006. Mr. Pace
continues to service sophisicated business and real estate clients, law firms and accountants with complex business structuring
and tax controversy needs. Mr. Pace's clients range throughout Southern California and include non-U.S.
persons with U.S. and California tax issues.
In the planning arena, the needs of Mr. Pace's clients include
the drafting, review and revision of purchase and sale documents, partnership and limited liability company agreements,
shareholder agreements and similar documents used in connection with closely held businesses. In the tax controversy
arena, Mr. Pace provides audit support and handles appeals with the Internal Revenue Service, California Franchise Tax Board
and California Board of Equalization. Mr. Pace does not provide estate planning, retirement planning or tax return preparation services.
Mr. Pace works in conjunction with many other professionals in the South Bay, Southern California and
elsewhere inside and outside the United States when providing his legal services. Those professionals include well-respected
corporate, real estate, employment, securities and litigation counsel, tax advisors and tax preparers at various law
and accounting firms.
Mr. Pace's practice is located in the business corridor of Manhattan Beach, California.
Although surrounded by over 4.5 million square feet of office space and a multitude of restaurants and shops, his office sits
within the quiet surroundings of the Manhattan Country Club. His location provides easy freeway access and free
parking.
